- SynthID Digital Watermark: To prevent images from being used for misinformation or deepfakes, Google embeds a SynthID watermark in generated images. This watermark is invisible to humans but can be used to identify AI-generated images.
- Content Safety Measures: Google has implemented a series of safety measures in ImageFX, including limiting training data to prevent the generation of violent, offensive, or sexually suggestive content, and setting filters to block the generation of images of known or named individuals.
- IPTC Metadata: All images generated with ImageFX include IPTC metadata, providing users with additional information about the image's origin and generation process.
How to Use ImageFX
ImageFX is currently available only in Google's AI Test Kitchen and is open to English users in the US, Kenya, New Zealand, and Australia. Users can try ImageFX and other experimental AI tools from Google, such as MusicFX (for music generation) and TextFX (for text stylization), on this platform. Here are the steps to use ImageFX:

- Enter a prompt on the left side, and ImageFX will automatically optimize the prompt and group it into Expressive Chips.
- Click "Generate" to produce the desired image. You can regenerate the image or modify it by clicking on the grouped adjectives or style words.
